About Talia
As an individual, I have been described as warm, bubbly and friendly. People know how much I love to teach and the passion that I have for my job. I love making a difference to others' lives and will go the extra mile to do so. My passion for teaching began in 2020, when as a student nurse, I realised that I was about to be in the wrong career. I decided to withdraw from nursing and instead complete a BA in Early Years. This experience taught me that teaching was DEFINITELY the correct choice and that my heart was in Early Years. Having achieved a first in my degree, I then went on to complete my PGCE and QTS. Whilst this was difficult and a rollercoaster of a year, like my students, I persevered. I finished with both distinction and a Qualified Teacher Status. I am now currently building up my experience and am looking to teach full time in the coming years.

Child Development can be tricky. There is so much to learn about children and how our roles as practitioners can help them thrive. This can include applying theories, writing observations, considering legislation and so much more. As mentioned, it is hard. It also gets harder, when you need to apply all that knowledge through assignments and coursework. Luckily, as an early years practitioner with a first class degree in Early Years, I am happy to help :) I am currently offering sessions for students who are on a child development (or similar) course who require academic help. This could be through assignment / coursework support, catch up sessions or anything that you are struggling with. I am also happy to review your current work and build from that. The first session will be an initial assessment to see where you are on your course and if I am suitable to help you. This session is free, payment will begin for sessions thereafter. As well as Child Development, I also offer sessions in similar subjects such as: - Childhood Studies - Health and Social Care - Foundation Years (Science) - Early Years / Early Childhood - Education Studies / Bachelor's of Education. I am able to offer these sessions based on my own experience of working in the health and social care sector as well as my previous experience of working in early years placements.
