About Ali
Hi, My name is Ali and I am looking to tutor students to help guide them and ensure their success. With a degree in Economics and an MSc in Actuarial Science, I have studied my subject areas to an incredibly high level and would like to share my knowledge with others. In addition to this, I work professionally as an Actuary and can share a keen and unique insight into the applications of the subject areas I have studied. I have previously taught and tutored various subjects to an incredibly wide age range, from children as young as 4 years old, to final year University students. I have taught classes of up to 20 students and tutored 1 to 1. This has allowed me to vary my teaching experience and learn how to use multiple teaching techniques in order to ensure students are understanding the content. With hundreds of hours of teaching experience, I have honed my craft and believe my talent lies in simplifying complicated concepts for students.
