About Kayleigh
Maths was my favourite subject at school and I miss it (strange, I know), which is why I'm using my spare time outside of work to tutor. I offer lessons on weekend mornings. In the week, my job is writing code as a Software Engineer at an investment bank. I graduated in 2022 with a Masters in Computational/Mathematical Biology from Imperial College. I have over 100 hours of tutoring experience and counting. I have a DBS check and a good knowledge of the Maths and Further Maths curricula. I start my lessons by going through exam style papers together to find topics the student would benefit from working on. I focus on building confidence alongside skill, and often find that topics children are struggling with are because of a misunderstanding of some basic building blocks earlier in their learning, so I find going back to basics to brush up on those skills very helpful.
