I try to make my lessons as fun and interesting as possible, focusing not only on the language but also on the cultural background, exploring Spanish and South American culture. However, I adapt my classes to meet the needs and interests of my students. Given that I'm fluent in five languages, I have extensive experience in learning. I understand how exhausting it can be to study grammar or vocabulary, so I prefer to teach through texts, videos, songs, or even poems. I also offer conversational classes for students who are already fluent and are interested in such sessions. I upload the materials from each lesson to Google Classroom, allowing you to access them later, track your progress over time, or submit your own essays and exercises.

I’ve been learning with Carmen for the last few months and I really recommend her as your tutor. She quickly understood my level, my strengths and weaknesses and tailors her lessons accordingly so that it’s actually useful to my goals. Her lessons are always really well planned and she is super flexible too. She chooses interesting topics to keep me engaged and actually wanting to talk together and this also teaches me about Spanish culture too!
