About Sophie
I have an A level grade B in Maths , Chemistry and PE as well as GCSE either a or A*. I previously completed an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise at Exeter University, a Master degree in Exercise Physiology at Newcastle University and I am currently working towards completing a PhD in Heath at the University of Bath. I have experience tutoring GCSE students online and in-person.

I prefer to speak to the student to understand their aims and go through questions with them to help them to approach questions differently as well as explaining the method behind it. We will start the session by a small starter which is often questions from a previously covered topic and move onto completing questions on the current topic. I generally teach by letting the student attempt the question and providing help when they get stuck and gradually the student needs less and less help. I like to do mini quizzes every few sessions to check the progress of the student.
