About Emily
Hi! I am a friendly primary school teacher with experience from KS1 and KS2. I have a fun and enthusiastic approach to teaching and can tailor my teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils. I have a background in psychology, in particular developmental psychology so I have a good understanding of how children develop and learn. I enjoy walking my dog and spending time with my family and pets. I am a keen reader (often reading children's books) and so would encourage any child to find their love of reading. I am keen to teach phonics and help children improve their fluency and comprehension of books. I enjoy walking my dog and spending time with my family and pets. I believe finding a child's interests can help improve their love for and confidence in learning. Emily is an incredible teacher, having previously worked alongside her she has a very special way of supporting children and meeting their individual needs.
