About Amanda
My love for the beautiful Spanish language began early in my academic career and continues to thrive 25 years later. Formal language studies fueled a passion for travel to the countries of Spain and México where full language immersion allowed me to fine tune my speaking and writing abilities. Continuing my education at the undergraduate level, I excelled in advanced level coursework and continue to educate myself today through cultural and academic pursuits.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, graduating summa cum laude, from Arizona State University with substantial coursework in Spanish and Linguistics. As of 2022, I have earned my Master’s of Science and am extremely well-versed in the methods and benefits of both online teaching and learning.
I am extremely dedicated to sharing my passion for Spanish and the acquisition of a second language!

My approach to teaching is to become acquainted with the specific needs and goals of the student and to cater my instruction to the areas they need help with the most in the way that they learn best. I make my lessons effective by making them personalized, fun and engaging!
Learning a second language doesn’t have to be hard and should always be fun! You’ll learn practical Spanish phrases, sentence structure and conversational and advanced vocabulary through interactive and engaging classes with a teacher who is passionate about the language and grateful for opportunity to teach you!
