About Sarah

I’m a committed and experienced tutor with over five years of teaching experience, supporting students across a range of subjects including Maths, English, and Science. I hold a BSc in Pharmacology and am currently completing my MSc at University College London (UCL). Having attended a grammar school myself, I understand the demands of selective entry and have successfully helped many students prepare for the 11+ and GCSE exams. Alongside private tutoring, I have also worked with schools for several years, developing a strong understanding of different learning styles and how to bring out the best in every student. My approach combines academic rigour with patience, encouragement, and clear strategies for success.

About the lesson

Each lesson is fully personalised to suit the individual needs and learning style of the student. I adapt my teaching methods to ensure every topic is clearly understood and that students feel confident tackling new challenges. Over the years, I’ve developed a range of techniques to support different types of learners; from visual and practical approaches to exam-focused strategies. Above all, I aim to build a genuine enthusiasm for learning, helping each student to grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
