About Eric
As someone with multiple years of classroom experience teaching 8th grade math and algebra, I am highly qualified to help your students with their struggles. My goal is to create a professional, encouraging space where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to master tough subjects. My approach focuses on guided discovery and adapting to how you learn best. Rather than having you memorize formulas, I use a "I do, We do, You do" method. First, I demonstrate a concept, then we solve a problem together using real-world analogies or visual tools, and finally, you tackle a problem independently to solidify your understanding. Coming from a background in coaching and behavioral support, I emphasize patience, positive reinforcement, and breaking complex multi-step problems down into simple, bite-sized logic.
