I am an ESL teacher with over three years of experience teaching adults, teenagers and children. I have experience teaching General English as well as teaching towards exams such as First Certificate and IELTS. I approach a topic by firstly gaining an understanding of what the needs of the students are. I then explain the topic in a way that is very easy to understand with plenty of examples. Then I answer questions and then we practice for as long as the student needs. I also like to incorporate games, interesting activities and games so that the students can relate the topic to real life situations. I believe it is important to understand the student and the way that they enjoy learning so I always try to gain an understanding of the students I'm working with.
