About Cassie
Hi, I'm Cassie, a 34-year-old teacher and caregiver for my elderly parents. I vividly remember being in school when I was younger, and crying at times, from the embarrassment of not understanding my teachers or what the assignments were. It was a horrible feeling, and it has made me very passionate about making sure no one else has to have moments like those! I take such pride in my students' desire to get better with this language, and I'm happy to take as much time as needed with each individual person, to ensure that they understand what's being taught. As an adult, and as a teacher now myself, I've learned so many genuinely fun ways of learning and it's so fun exploring those outlets with students!

I should also mention that I come with a phenomenal co-teacher, which is my service dog, Ruby! Students typically love seeing her and getting to interact with her as well, making for a very fun icebreaker!

I've been an ESL teacher online for multiple years now, helping students overseas learn English more fluently and more clearly, to make their schooling in a new country much easier! I love teaching and I enjoy getting to know my students and getting to know how learning comes easiest to them. I'm very passionate about getting the opportunity to make learning a genuinely fun and stress-free experience, like it should be! I would love to help any Middle School, High School, or even adult students, that would like to be more fluent with their reading, writing, or ability to speak English!
