About Natalya

I was born and raised in Moscow suburb Korolev and spent most of my life in Russia. I started teaching English to Russians when I was 14 y.o. and I still love it! But now I live in Australia and teach Russian to English speaking students as well. Learning languages and teaching is my passion :) I assure you that it's easy and fun to learn Russian. About the lesson

Everyone is different, so I think that approach in learning and teaching must be different as well. You can choose the length of a lesson that suits you most. And I'll find the best approach for your goals. Here are some basics I can guarantee to you as my student. You can expect to have all the necessary materials online. I usually start my lessons with speaking practice, then go through home task refreshing the rules behind the mistakes if there are any and move forward to the next topic. Along the lesson I usually make a list of new vocabulary for a student and upload it in a flash cards app so the student could focus on learning it before our next class. We can also work on how to write and type in Russian if you want to, it is quite fun. I will recommend Russian movies to watch with English subtitles and we can discuss them after. So it's always a fun and rewarding collaboration.

Perfect! Natalya has been a great teacher. I had studied Russian before, so she was able to work out where I got up to. She has worked hard to improve my accent with careful attention to vowel reduction, voiced and voiceless consonants. She has even made Russian grammar fun!
