About Agnes
With 9 years of experience as a Spanish tutor, I have had the privilege of teaching around 150 High School and College students. My teaching philosophy is centred on helping students understand the language naturally through practice, communication, and continuous encouragement. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when lessons are adapted to their individual learning style.
My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation practice, reading, writing, and listening activities. Instead of only memorising rules, students learn how to use Spanish in everyday situations. I include games, discussions, role-playing, and cultural topics to make every lesson enjoyable and meaningful. I also provide regular feedback so students can clearly see their progress.
A notable achievement in my teaching career has been helping many students improve their grades and develop confidence in using Spanish inside and outside the classroom. Watching students become independent learners is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.
I always aim to create a positive classroom where students feel respected, motivated, and excited to learn. My goal is to help learners develop strong communication skills and a lasting interest in the Spanish language.

I approach teaching Spanish with a student-focused methodology that balances engagement, structure, and adaptability. Accountability ensures learners set goals, track progress, and take ownership of their learning. Integrity guarantees lessons are honest, fair, and customised to each student’s strengths and challenges.
I use Flexibility to adjust lesson plans, exercises, and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals. Communication is at the heart of my approach; I encourage conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students internalise grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates achievements, and fosters confidence. I also integrate related subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context and practical application. My goal is to help students gain fluency, confidence, and a lifelong love of Spanish.
