My experience as a writer for Berita Harian strengthened my Bahasa Melayu writing and grammar skills. I aim to use this background to help students read, write and express themselves more confidently.

About Amira
Hi, I’m Amira! I’m interested in helping primary school students become more confident in Bahasa Melayu, from understanding what they read to expressing their ideas in writing.
Although I am new to tutoring, I will prepare each lesson carefully and take time to understand each student’s needs. I aim to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and practicing at their own pace.
I look forward to supporting your child’s learning with clear explanations, encouragement and regular practice.

I plan to teach Bahasa Melayu through simple explanations, guided practice and activities such as reading short stories, building sentences and practising everyday conversations. I will adapt lessons to each student’s pace and focus on areas where they need support.
Each lesson will typically last one hour, with time for revision, practice and questions.
I am new to tutoring and do not have formal teaching experience yet. My approach will be patient and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
My lessons are intended for primary school students aged 7 to 12 who need help with Bahasa Melayu reading, writing, grammar and schoolwork.
