About Amanda
Having taught in schools in the UK, Papua New Guinea, Zambia and Australia, I have a wealth of experience. I have taught mostly in primary schools but I've also taught dance, gymnastics and I've tutored many students over the years. Teaching is a gift, for which I am truly grateful.

My teaching method is very child-centred. Being an expert in how the brain learns, I use a variety of teaching methods, depending on the student sitting before me and how they learn. I cater for aural, kinaesthetic and visual learners. I use a variety of methods in each session from physical activities such as bouncing the ball as you spell words or answer sums, to writing in sand or shaving foam to computer work or written work - whatever the child requires.
