Anthony was a perfect tutor for my 13yrs old son, preparing for his common entrance. Anthony was an inspiration to my son having had lessons with Anthony he came home wanting to revise and work hard towards his exams. Anthony taught him so much and the change in my sons work ethics was remarkable.

Anthony been tutored my 16 year old son for a number of sessions earlier this year to assist him in preparing for his GCSE exams. It was a last minute request on my part following my son having dropped out of school due to his father dying. He consequently missed not just coursework but revision classes at school. I was in a complete panic and a friend recommended Anthony. As soon as I spoke to him on the phone, despite his young age, he brought calm to the situation.

Anthony could not have done more to help. He showed huge flexibility in fitting around my son’s exam timetable and fitting in as many tutor sessions as he could sometimes for 3 or 4 hours at a time. He patiently went through the syllabus for a number of subjects to check my son’s knowledge and to try and give my son confidence to attempt the exams. Anthony prepared for each session before hand so that he could focus his time when he was with my son.

A variety of subjects were covered though predominantly science and maths. Anthony was happy to cover all subjects as necessary and clearly had the knowledge to do so.

Anthony is incredibly mature for his age but has the added advantage for my son of having a lot in common with him and therefore was easy for my son to relate to.

I would strongly recommend Anthony as a tutor. My son passed 6 GCSEs which was a great achievement in the circumstances. Without Anthony there would have been a fair chance that my son would not have had the confidence or motivation to even attempt them and I am hugely grateful to Anthony for the help he has given.
