About Elaine
I began my teaching career as an English as a Foreign Language teacher (TEFL) and then qualified to teach French, Spanish and German having obtained my degree in these languages previously. I taught adults and teenagers for ten years then primary school children for eight years. I am fully qualified to teach in Queensland and have a Queensland Teaching Registration.

With many years of language teaching behind me, I pride myself in making my lessons enjoyable and uncomplicated which in turn increases the students' confidence and they make rapid progress in their language learning. I adapt my teaching to meet the needs of different learning styles. To this end I very much enjoy making my own resources. I keep students' attention by varying my teaching content continuously and would even make resources for the individual student if I felt this would help them understand and increase their knowledge.
