About Mary

Hi, my name is Mary, I have over 10 years of experience teaching both in class and in one-on-one settings. While I specialize in teaching French, I have also taught English, history, math and science. I can provide homework support or develop lessons specifically tailored to the students' needs. I have extensive experience in teaching children ages 3 to 18 and have a special interest in working with new Canadians. My knowledge of French, English, Russian and Spanish, and experience teaching in a Chinese school helps me connect with students from various backgrounds. I am passionate about teaching and I believe that with the right tools, any student can succeed academically.

About the lesson

I work with the student to identify strengths and areas that need improvement, and develop strategies to reach our objectives. I believe that learning can be fun and focus on keeping the student motivated to ensure their active participation in learning. The lessons can be an extension of the school curriculum or be tailored specifically to the student's needs.
