About Paula
I have a history of working with migrant groups and organisations and enjoy teaching migrant and refugee students.
I have a number of qualifications in TESOL including a Masters. I was an adult literacy and numeracy tutor for many years at two different training organisations for ESL students. I have taught adult students from early adult to 60 years plus.

I teach my class in a variety of ways. I use card games to help them with their vocab and puzzles occasionally with the same purpose, of allowing them to practice their speaking skills in a less formal and hopefully fun way. In a classroom this is also a situation of collaboration with other students of different backgrounds so communication in English is essential. I am an artist so always have reinforcement in my lessons with visual clues.
A typical length of a lesson is around an hour. I might resume, if necessary, after a break.
