I want to recommend Amy as an English teacher because of her capacity to answer my needs in the study of the English language.
I was a student from January to June 2017 with the request to focus more on my writing and speaking skills than the comprehension. Amy was extremely willing to build a special program with the aim of strengthening my weaknesses but always meeting with my requests.
I also want to recommend Amy for her ability to make you comfortable during the lessons and to create a cheerful and pleasant atmosphere.I want to recommend Amy as an English teacher because of her capacity to answer my needs in the study of the English language.

A perfect teacher.I had the pleasure to work with Amy Ballard for a period of 5 years as a colleague at the British School of Bassano del Grappa (Italy). I’ve always appreciated her as a person for her accessibility, liveliness and sense of humor and as a teacher for her strong motivation, commitment and passion for her job. Her contagious enthusiasm has always had a positive impact on her students.
During the years I’ve seen her “growing” as a teacher, improving her already innate qualities. She is definitely and energetic person with strong interpersonal skills. She has always proven herself to be hard-working, versatile and receptive to changes.
Through the years she has developed more and more competence in dealing with a variety of courses, from group to individual tutoring to exam preparation, business classes and courses for specific purposes, showing a keen sense of adaptability and flexibility. She taught successfully from beginner to advanced students and from teenagers to adults, proving capable to adjust her teaching method to each and every student and their different way of grasping the material and continually looking for new and more effective teaching strategies, keeping her professional development continuous.
During her work experience at the British School she sometimes found herself dealing with “difficult” and demanding classes and students. In these cases she proved to be patient, supportive and motivating: she always gave her best and never got discouraged. According to her students’ reports, she was able to personalize the learning incorporating connections to the student's interests and always trying to “get in touch” with them.
She is a very well organized teacher, accurate in preparing the lessons and studying the course material in advance. She’s got an undeniable good language awareness and great communication skills to convey her lessons and at the same time she is a good listener.
In short she’s been a completely reliable employee and colleague, an asset to the school, appreciated by team and staff and loved by her students.
I wish Amy every success in life. I will surely miss her very much.
I highly recommend Amy Ballard as English teacher. As Italian student, I have had the pleasure to have lessons with Amy for about two years. She has helped me to improve my English, considering the grammar and the speaking. She has always responded to my requests and my questions, advising me. Furthermore, she has helped me to understand the point of my English situation, she has been available to make plans for my needs regarding the English language. Her lessons are very stimulating and tailored on the students' level. Actually, she is really interested in her students' improvements. Amy has a lot of patience and she has a positive attitude, with the ability to make people comfortable.
