About Phillip
I am a mature aged Australian man who spent many years initially in the landscape construction and maintenance industry. After a chronic back injury I decided to go back to school, completed a Bachelor's degree in Social Science, obtained TEFOL certification, then commenced teaching in rural and urban Thailand in both government and international schools, in both in class and online forums. I have a calm, fun filled approach to learning English and like to make lessons interesting, and to show the different ways English is spoken in diverse areas using accents, idioms, expressions, puns and wordplay.

Hi, I have taught English, Grammar and Social Science both online and in class for over 3 years in Thailand, and in that time have helped many students improve their English reading, writing, pronunciation and grammar. I teach everything from basic phonics, how to make the sounds of letters and letter combinations, up to more advanced grammatical theory and application, as well as conversational English, including idioms, slang expressions and syntax.
