About Claudia
I specialise and take particular pride in tutoring English to students from non-English speaking backgrounds (ESL/EALD). I have been tutoring several students from Chinese backgrounds for 3 years. Some of these students couldn't speak a word of English when I first met them, now they tell me all about their day at school! All of my students have achieved tremendous results. I also participated in a work placement at Mount Pleasant Primary School in 2016.

I consider myself a gentle, encouraging and reliable tutor. I am passionate about seeing students achieve their academic goals. I understand the importance of having someone to read books with your child or work through their homework with them. In particular, some parents choose to have a tutor for their child because they are not confident in their English abilities, lack time or don't want their children to copy their accent.
