About Kate
I have been an artist for over 40 years now, and I have a BA (hons) in art + design and a master's in psychology. I’m currently learning about integrative counselling skills. I love combining my art expertise with psychology and the counselling skills. My focus is on people's well-being and supporting them through the arts. I work with inks, watercolours, acrylic, pastels, charcoal, pencil and pens. I also do print work and weaving using wool, ribbons and beads. I love being creative and to teach skills I have learnt over the course of my life.

I have a degree in art + design and I am an experienced art tutor, working with children and adults, from age 3-90 years old. I work in people's homes, schools, forest schools + community centres. I’m happy to work online and in person. I have experience of working with individuals who have dementia, Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy or other complex needs. I also work with children who present with ADHD and autism. I encourage a sense of play and fun whilst also teaching new skills. I am a psychology graduate too, so I tend to focus on art for well-being as well as teaching particular skills. My forte is acrylic ink and watercolour ink. I have held solo + joint art exhibitions and sell my own work. I also offer art retreats.
