About Joy
I have coached numerous girls and women’s basketball teams and have a passion to see individuals young and not so young develop their skills and fitness through the fantastic team sport of basketball. I’m a super encouraging coach who can break down skills and help you develop.

My teaching method is practical. It starts with assessing skill level and development requirements. I break down the skill into its components and explain the way that skill fits into the game. Targeted exercises & drills help to develop the skill. Then we work on incorporating these skills into the game, understanding your and your team mates roles.
I base my methodology in years of experience gained from coaching girls and now women’s basketball.
