About Kaylin
Hi! I'm Kaylin, a Howard University Biology graduate and Georgetown University graduate with a passion for helping students succeed. I've been tutoring and mentoring students for several years through my own tutoring program because I genuinely enjoy seeing that moment when something finally clicks. I know how overwhelming school can feel, especially when you're struggling with a subject, so I strive to create a supportive and judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help every student build confidence, develop strong study habits, and realize they're capable of more than they think.

I've always enjoyed helping students feel more confident in school. Through my own personal tutoring business, Tutor with Kay, and mentorship program, I've worked one-on-one with students to improve their understanding of subjects while also helping them build better study habits and confidence. I know that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to figure out what works best for each student and explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them. My goal isn't just to help students get the right answer, but to make sure they truly understand the material and leave each session feeling more confident than when they started.
