About Adrian

Hi, I'm Adrian! I'm a University of Sydney graduate with a major in Accounting and Finance, and I've spent the last few years helping university students navigate challenging subjects and achieve their academic goals. I've worked with students from USyd, UniMelb, Monash, UNSW, ANU and many others.

My approach is simple: I focus on making difficult concepts easier to understand and creating a comfortable environment where you can ask questions without feeling judged. Everyone learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit your needs and pace. I've worked with students aiming for distinctions, as well as students who have failed a unit before and felt stuck or overwhelmed. What I enjoy most is helping students rebuild their confidence, because I've found that once confidence grows, results usually follow.

Alongside tutoring, I have experience in business strategy, which helps me connect what you're learning with how it's applied in the real world.

Whether you're trying to catch up, improve your grades, or push for top marks, I'd be happy to help you get there.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is all about making complex concepts easy to understand. I use a step-by-step method to break down difficult topics into manageable parts, ensuring that my students fully grasp the material before moving on. My teaching is highly interactive, and I encourage questions and discussions to promote deeper learning.

Techniques and Methodology: I focus on personalized learning, adapting my teaching style to match each student’s pace and preferences. I use real-world examples to explain theoretical concepts, making the material more relatable and easier to understand.

Typical Lesson Length: Each session typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, providing enough time to cover the material in-depth without overwhelming the student.

Qualifications and Experience: I’m a graduate with a major in Accounting and Finance at the University of Sydney. I’ve been tutoring for many years and specialise in helping students who are struggling in their studies. My experience spans across various universities, including Macquarie University, University of Wollongong, Curtin University, University of Newcastle, Deakin University and Swinburne.
