Having worked closely with him as a colleague (approximately 20 years ago), I have seen firsthand his creativity and attention to detail. He has an intuitive knack for identifying where someone (student) is struggling and instantly pivoting to a clearer visual or practical example to help a concept click.
For any student looking to gain confidence, master difficult material, and actually enjoy the learning process, I cannot recommend Craig highly enough.

Craig is very patient and easy to talk to. I was not very confident speaking English and was worried about making mistakes. He never made me feel bad when I got something wrong and gave me time to speak. I feel more confident now and I really recommend him.

I’d smooth the wording and remove the repetition around “calm/calm(ed)”:

I met Craig at circus school, where he was my flying trapeze instructor. He has endless patience and an incredibly calm, gentle disposition that immediately put me at ease. Craig also has a wonderfully sharp sense of humour and regularly had me belly laughing. His playful nature finds joy in the simplest things, and his sense of wonder is infectious. He is a wonderful teacher and general all around human being!
