About Zev
I have been playing chess for 14 years and coaching for multiple years now with many students of varying ages and abilities. I am currently an active tournament player in both Junior and Open tournaments and am one of Queensland’s top players. Am currently rated over 2200 on chess.com, 1424 on the Queensland Junior Ratings, and 1750 on the international FIDE ratings.

Lessons consist of a mix of practice drills, master/personal game analysis, opening preparation, one-on-mid-match training. Lessons typically go for around 1 hour. Lesson plans are personalised to individual students and are clearly communicated with students at the start of the lesson.
