About Jonathon
I am a passionate chess player who is continuing to learn and the love the game more. I have been playing chess for 20 years, and have competed in hundreds of chess competitions. I have plenty of experience tutoring students in maths and science and am looking forward to translating these skills into chess coaching.

My lessons involve teaching fundamental chess concepts, strategy and skills. I tailor chess lessons to the student, which generally involves me analysing the students games to see where they can improve.
I have taught chess to primary school students for over 7 years. I also have experience tutoring high school and university maths and science.
I am willing to coach students of all ages. My coaching is suitable for beginners and intermediate strength chess players (up to ~1500 rating).
