About Boya
I am a postgraduate at the University of Queensland with an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. I have been teaching three languages (Mandarin, English, and Russian) for more than one years in China and Australia. My students include both adults and children, and they all feel very comfortable and enjoyable with my lessons. I am flexible, able to provide tutor sessions on a weekly basis.

My M.A. major is about how to better teach or learn a second language. What I learn from my major and my teaching experience is that it is important to encourage learners to use the target language, both orally and textually. So, my teaching method is a communicative teaching way. I inspire students to communicate with me using the target language and appreciate their achievements. I help them deal with learning problems and am promising to satisfy their learning needs. Besides, I am able to speak 3 languages, and thus understanding their language easily.
