About Jennifer A
Enthusiastic and friendly cello and music tutor available to take on learners of all ages and stages, offering lessons with a flexible timetable. Lessons can be to prepare for an audition, conservatoire entrance, exam, or concerts. I am empathetic, and available to adapt to my students individual needs to maximise potential and enjoyment. In addition to this I have experience with children who have mild special education needs, and I can deliver enjoyable and engaging programmes which provides a platform to encourage and assist students to obtain their individual goals.
Currently studying for a master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music I have a wide range of musical subjects under my belt, such as music history, form and analysis, and advanced cello techniques and repertoire. Moreover, I can provide guidance for students entering ABRSM exams.

Jenny is a fantastic cellist and teacher who I am lucky to have worked alongside on many occasions! She plays the cello beautifully, having graduated from the Royal Academy of music, and has an active performance career. Alongside her playing, she is a wonderful cello teacher, working with students of all ages. She is very patient, kind, and organised and can help any budding cellist reach their goals!
Jennifer is reliable and thorough as a tutor. She brings a fantastic energy and level of knowledge to lessons.
