About Sharleen
I am a passionate education professional with over 15 years of experience supporting students in the classroom. As a student, I personally struggled with math, which helps me deeply understand the frustration many students feel. Because of this, I focus on teaching algebra in a patient, step-by-step way that makes concepts easier to understand. My experience working with diverse learners, including students with cognitive disabilities, has helped me develop creative strategies to meet each student’s unique learning needs. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and discovering that they are capable of succeeding in math.
