About Tayla
Hello! My name is Tayla, and I’m a compassionate and dedicated Education Support Worker based in Victoria. I have several years of experience working with children in both classroom and one-on-one settings, including those with learning difficulties and additional support needs. As a dedicated Education Support Worker with several years of experience, I offer patient and personalised tutoring tailored to each child’s individual learning style and needs. I specialise in working with primary school students, including those with learning difficulties such as ADHD, autism, and dyslexia.
My approach is calm, supportive, and flexible. I use a variety of teaching methods—visual, hands-on, and verbal—to make lessons engaging and easy to understand. I believe building a child’s confidence is just as important as building their academic skills.
Lessons typically run for 45 minutes to 1 hour and focus on key areas of English (reading, writing, comprehension) and maths (foundations, number skills, problem-solving). I adapt each session based on the student's current level and goals.
I currently work as an Education Support Worker and have extensive experience supporting students both one-on-one and in small groups. My background in childcare has also given me a strong foundation in child development and communication.
These sessions are ideal for primary school-aged children who need extra support in English and maths, especially those who may struggle in a typical classroom setting or need a more personalised approach to learning.
