About Julie

I’m Julie, a certified elementary teacher who loves helping students discover that they are capable of more than they think! I have experience teaching French and French as a second language, and I especially enjoy working with younger learners as they develop their reading and language skills.
As a teacher, I know that every student learns differently. I’m patient, encouraging, and attentive to each child’s strengths and needs. I strive to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
Whether your child needs a little extra support, wants to strengthen their French skills, or simply needs more confidence, I’m here to help them feel successful and enjoy learning along the way.

As a certified elementary teacher with experience teaching French and French as a second language, I create supportive, engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs and goals.
I combine clear instruction, guided practice, conversation, reading and fun activities to help students develop their French skills while building confidence. For younger learners, I place a particular focus on foundational literacy skills such as sounds, decoding, vocabulary and reading fluency.
My classroom experience helps me understand how children learn and adapt my approach when they need extra support or a different way of learning. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes, celebrating their progress and discovering that they can succeed in French.
