About John
I am an engineer with a computer science based degree that covers many areas of programming, and has extensive experience in programming for the web in Ruby on Rails (that has been my whole career!). I have built all sorts of applications using Ruby along with the Rails framework (and other frameworks), and look forward to helping others on there journey to building awesome stuff too.

I work with people new to the world of programming and Ruby, perhaps you are a newly graduated student looking to learn and get experience in Ruby on Rails to land that job you want. Or maybe you are looking for a career change and you have a massive interest in the world of software. Whatever the reason, I am here to help you on your journey.
My teaching method is to tailor the learning to the individual, whilst there are fundamentals and learning goals we will work through so you are prepared to get out there and take these skills into the real world, rather than stick to a rigid structure and timeline I will work with you at your own pace. I want to make the time work for you, so that you find programming in Ruby on Rails enjoyable, not confusing and overwhelming!
