I've taught English for Academic Purposes (EAP) for many years, teaching small classes (averaging about 10 students) in how to use correct grammar and academic language, how to present an effective argument in English, how to structure an academic essay. I've also taught one-on-one to identify specific language issues.
I've been teaching English for Academic Purposes at Eynesbury College, Adelaide for the past six years. Students have gone on to study in a range of courses at Adelaide University, University of SA and Flinders University. I have maintained contact with some students, eg Ella from China who is completing a nursing degree at UniSA, and regularly obtaining distinctions.
