My teaching method emphasises the basics of language composition: grammar and structure. My undergraduate background in linguistics has made me an expert in teaching grammar, and I encourage students to focus on the details of the language in order to gain a more intimate understanding of a text. In writing, my teaching emphasises the importance of outlining in order to build a composition from the bottom up.
