About Val
All students call me Val. I started playing when I was five years old. I went to University of Arts Berlin and obtained a Post Graduate degree from Mannes College of Music in New York in viola performance, conducting and composition. Apart from New York City Opera Orchestra, I was a member of the Mostly Mozart Orchestra and New York Chamber Symphony. My greatest passion is teaching, having fun with students while enjoying performing and showcasing their musical talents.

All lessons should be fun! We will play duets (two different parts), sing (I will do the singing if you prefer not to), count and most importantly we will decide together the repertory (songs or classical music) we intend to work on, in addition to technical work.
