About Prudence Buhle
Hello! My name is Prudence, and I am a newly qualified Foundation Phase teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree. I am passionate about helping young learners build strong foundations in Mathematics and develop confidence in their abilities from an early age.
Although I am newly qualified, I have gained valuable experience during my teaching practice, where I worked closely with learners in the classroom environment. This experience strengthened my classroom management skills, lesson planning abilities, and understanding of different learning needs.
I am professional, patient, and committed to creating a supportive and positive learning space. I am dedicated to helping each learner grow academically and believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every child can succeed.

As a dedicated Foundation Phase teacher, my tutoring approach is learner-centred, patient, and interactive. I focus on building strong Maths foundations through step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and fun activities that make learning enjoyable. I believe every child can succeed with the right support and encouragement.
I teach in English and can also provide support in isiZulu and Setswana where needed to ensure full understanding. My lessons are structured but flexible, depending on the learner’s pace and needs.
In a typical lesson, we revise previous work, introduce new concepts using simple explanations and visual aids, practise together, and end with independent activities to build confidence. I also provide constructive feedback and additional practice where necessary.
My lessons are aimed at Foundation Phase learners (Grades R–3), especially those who need extra support, confidence-building, or help strengthening their basic numeracy skills.
