About Joe
Hi I'm Joe Hughes, currently studying neuroscience at university. For the past two years I've lived in France in cities such as Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Bordeaux, and Clermont Ferrand. I'm tutoring french as a way to keep using and practising my french but mainly to help current students to actually learn the french language. In GCSEs and A levels I found it was very difficult to really learn the french language due to the classroom setting, with very little time to practice speaking and listening. This meaning that the french learnt in the classroom is not very useful for real life situations. I want to give students the chance to learn French in a way that will be useful to them in a real life situation and naturally as they improve their mastery of French their results will improve.

Offering extra practice and help for GCSE and A level students in the form of support sessions of 30-60 minutes. After doing A level french I have lived in France for the past two years and now want to help current students to really master the language by speaking in a one on one session, a learning technique which is often neglected in a school setting.
