About Finn

Bonjour! I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in French Language Teaching. I have a passion for making French vibrant and musical, and I love integrating rhythm, music, and phonetics into my pronunciation coaching. In my lessons, I use French songs, tongue twisters, and poetry to help students develop accent, intonation, and a natural speech flow. These tools make learning enjoyable while reinforcing proper pronunciation and expression. I’ve worked with actors, voice artists, and singers, helping them refine their vocal skills while mastering the language. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making French practical, enjoyable, and easy to use in everyday situations. I start with pronunciation drills and listening exercises to help students speak clearly and confidently. These help students practice speaking naturally and responding in real time. I also emphasize vocabulary retention through fun exercises, storytelling, and repetition, so words and phrases stick. Grammar is taught in context, never in isolation, to make learning meaningful and relevant. I support students in developing strong conversational skills, whether for travel, connecting with family, or simply enjoying the language. Role-plays, interactive exercises, and mini-challenges build confidence and fluency. I integrate cultural insights to make lessons richer and more memorable. Technology also plays a role.
