About Andrew
My name is Andrew and i'm an experienced Functional skills tutor covering the topics of Functional skills and GCSE Maths. Maths is my favourite topic because there is always one correct answer, yet there are many ways to approach the problem, and different things work for different people. I am laid back and have a good sense of humour. I am especially good at building rapport with my students and focus primarily on making my students feel relaxed before engaging in tricky maths sums.

My approach is student led so you will be actively involved throughout the session, learning through taking part in engaging activities, rather than simply being "shown" had to do a sum/formula. I keep my lessons fun and engaging finding that this is the best approach to maths.
