About Ayilar
I have been tutoring students for over 3 years, helping them improve their grades and reach their goals, whether that was a pass grade or a grade 9/A*. I have predicted A*A*A grades in biology, chemistry and maths A-level, and achieved grades of (concealed information) at GCSE.
It is essential that students are taught by someone who understands the challenges and common pitfalls they commonly face, as well as being truly passionate about the subjects they are teaching. I have confidence in every one of my students and have enjoyed sharing my strategies and tricks for overcoming these challenges throughout my tutoring career.

During every lesson I note down any gaps in knowledge or exam skills, including anything I have taught that may be forgotten. I then use these to make quizzes and collections of exam questions and mark schemes to look at together in future lessons as starter activities.
Improving grades doesn’t just come from learning content, but also from learning the language of mark schemes, practising older skills, writing under timed pressure, and having confidence in yourself! These are all skills I incorporate in my lessons, adjusted for each student and their goals.
