About Lily
I am an experienced GCSE and A-Level tutor specialising in Biology, Chemistry and Geography, with over 7 years of tutoring experience helping students build confidence, improve grades, and achieve their academic goals.
I achieved 5 A’s and 5 B’s at GCSE, followed by an A* in Biology, an A in Geography, and a B in Chemistry at A-Level, so I understand both the challenges students face and the strategies needed to succeed. I graduated with a First-Class degree in Biomedical Science from King's College London, further strengthening my expertise in the sciences and my ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively. Additionally, I currently work as a Medical Writer, which allows me to bring real-world scientific knowledge and strong communication skills into my lessons.
I take great pride in seeing my students succeed and achieve their goals, and I find it incredibly rewarding to support them throughout their academic journey. I particularly value being there for students during more challenging periods, helping them overcome obstacles, build confidence and recognise their own potential. I absolutely love tutoring and I am passionate about making a positive difference in my students’ lives and helping them develop both academically and personally.

My aim is always to make learning approachable, effective, and stress-free while helping students reach their full potential. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all abilities across a wide range of exam boards, and I pride myself on adapting my teaching style to suit each individual student’s learning needs. Whether a student needs help understanding difficult concepts, improving exam technique, or boosting confidence before exams, I create supportive and engaging lessons tailored specifically to them.
I also provide access to a large bank of high-quality resources, including revision checklists, topic-based exam questions, structured notes, and past paper practice to ensure students feel fully prepared and organised throughout their studies.
