About Callum
Hi, I’m a third-year Mathematics student with over three years of GCSE Maths tutoring experience. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A in A-Level Maths, and I have helped several students improve their confidence and understanding of the subject. All of my previous GCSE students have gone on to pass their exams. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are aiming to secure a pass, build confidence with difficult topics, or push for the highest grades. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their problem-solving skills. I offer online and in-person tuition and am happy to provide a free introductory conversation to discuss goals and how I can help.

My lessons are focused on helping students develop a genuine understanding of the mathematics they are studying, rather than simply memorising methods. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through problems at their own pace. A typical lesson will involve reviewing any areas of difficulty, introducing and explaining new concepts where needed, and working through a range of practice questions together. Particular emphasis is placed on exam-style questions to help students become familiar with the techniques and problem-solving skills required for GCSE success. Whether a student is struggling with specific topics, looking to build confidence, or aiming for the highest grades, lessons are adapted to focus on their goals and areas for improvement.
