About Christopher
Have been a Head of Maths for the last 5 years in one of the best colleges in the UK with consistently excellent grades and pass rates in Maths.
I am an experienced and passionate mathematics teacher with nearly ten years' experience teaching in a successful sixth form college, most recently as Head of Mathematics. A graduate of the University of Warwick, I have dedicated my career to helping students build confidence, develop a deep understanding of mathematics, and achieve results that open doors to their chosen universities and careers.
I specialise in GCSE, A-level and Further Mathematics, tailoring every lesson to the individual needs of each student. Whether you're aiming to secure a pass, achieve a top grade, or prepare for university entrance, I believe that clear explanations, patience and consistent encouragement are the keys to success. My students value my calm, approachable teaching style and my ability to break down even the most challenging topics into manageable, understandable steps.
Having worked extensively with exam specifications and assessment, I understand exactly what examiners are looking for and can help students develop effective exam technique alongside strong mathematical understanding.

Tutor with over 10 years' experience around the West Midlands.
With maths, exam preparation is key and so with me you will use your maths skills and techniques to problem solve a range of questions from various exam boards. I am also an experienced examiner for AQA and Edexcel and so we will work on maximising marks in exams.
Lessons are usually 1 hour (can be negotiated, 2-hour lessons close to the exams tend to be helpful).
