About Isabella

Hello! My name is Bella, and I am an experienced tutor who specializes in High School English, Psychology, and Maths, including VCE English. I am available for online sessions, or in-person nearby for an additional small fee.

Having completed VCE with a 43 study score in English, I went on to complete a Bachelor of Science with a strong emphasis on mathematics and statistics, majoring in Ecology. I am now furthering my education to become a psychologist, and work in the field.

As a tutor, I aim to equip students with the tools and perspectives they need to not only succeed academically, but to also enjoy doing it. My approach centres around finding study techniques that work for each student, as well as fostering a deeper understanding of the subjects. I strive to find and work through the unique challenges of each student in English and Maths, and to share my passion for those subjects with each student in some way.

About the lesson

I take a structured but personal approach to tutoring, listening to the the student about what they feel they need to focus on, how they currently study/learn, and what excites them most at school. I do this whilst also keeping a keen eye on the rubric and upcoming exams, focusing on how we can maximise your skills.

I wholeheartedly enjoy working through tricky maths problems with students, analysing texts, and helping students plan and write essays that they are proud of. I would be honoured to help you through high school English and/or Maths (including VCE English), whilst equiping you with valuable study techniques which you can use into the future.
