About Antonio
I’m a journalist educated both in Canada and in Spain, with a Master's in Business Administration, a postgraduate in journalism and a Ph.D. in social communication with a dissertation about cultural diversity in film festivals. Besides teaching Spanish, I have been a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto, TMU (Toronto Metropolitan University), Universidad Carlos III, Universidad Villanueva and Universidad San Pablo-CEU. With more than 15 years of experience, I’ve been a radio and TV host, producer, and correspondent in film festivals like Cannes, Toronto, Sundance, San Sebastian. I’ve also written articles about cinema, music, and finance, both in English and Spanish and have done hundreds of live presentations online and in person. I have interviewed more than 2,000 persons in English, French and mainly in Spanish, which is my native language. I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, with Cuban ancestry.

I tailor my course to you. First, we’ll evaluate your needs, and according to them (and your Spanish knowledge), I’ll suggest different situations and tests to build your communication skills in this language.
