About Amanda
My passion for language learning and education has led me to pursue a career in online teaching, and I am excited about the opportunity to join your team. With a Diploma in Journalism and a 120-hour TEFL certification. Before I was an English teacher, I worked in the hospitality industry as a waitress for almost 4 years. I grew up in a country called South Africa; I am the third born in my family and the only girl. I grew up watching a lot of cartoons and I still do, my favorite cartoons were Dragon Ball Z and the Wings Club. In my spare time I volunteer at the local radio station, where I work as a radio host. I host the health show where I talk about healthy eating habits, taking care of your health and encourage listeners to stay active. I am 29 years of age and I hold a Diploma in Journalism, before I was an English teacher, I worked in the hospitality industry as a waitress for almost 4 years.

I offer personalized learning with my effective communication skills which are clear and concise; to avoid any misunderstandings. I believe that practice makes perfect the more you practice the better you will get. I am a Native English speaker and I will be teaching Conversational English. A typical day with me would involve roleplaying and games to get students engaged and for them to stay motivated.
