About Ross
My whole working life has been in teaching......primary, secondary English and Social Studies. I have been a Lecturer in all aspects of English...speaking, writing, literature..at Qut and GriffIth Universties. More recently I have taught and examined in English as a second language in Brisbane and a year in Thailand and half a year in India. I have acted and directed in many plays in Brisbane.

First of all I ask a student what they would like to improve, then give some small tests to grade future lessons. They will be prepared for a student’s needs, coming from relevant texts and exercises from my own experience. The subject matter will be based on topics of interest and lessons will be varied and practical as possible. Encouragement and positive feedback are essential for development in ability and for confidence.
